R&D Operations Manager

If you want to take on an important role in a product company developing innovative applications for open office management this can be the right opportunity for you. The solution is based on 3D office models and provides mobile, web and panel based interfaces. In the role as R&D Operations Manager you are leading a team of about ten skilled developers that develops and innovates to build leading solutions for managing a modern office environment.

In your daily work you are discussing technical specifications with the product managers, discussing architecture and technical possibilities with developers, testing new features and planning and co-ordinating the development work. You are acting as an Agile Coach towards the development team.

We believe that you are an enthusiastic and well-organized leader with previous experience from a leading position in a software development company.

We believe that you have:
  • Solid experience in agile project management of software development projects
  • Previous experience in requirements analysis
  • Good leadership skills
  • Experience in software testing / QA
  • University level studies in computer science or similar
  • Good English skills verbally and in writing

It's an advantage if you have:
  • Hands-on experience in software development and/or system architecture
  • Experience in managing distributed development teams

This role is based at the headquarter of our customer in the city center of Stockholm, Sweden. But you will also spend part of the time in Sofia as a big part of the team is with us in Bulgaria. In this role, you are part of their management team. The assignment is initially for 9 months with the possibility for prolongation (in Sweden or Bulgaria).
